About me I have worked as a teacher of English for about ten (10) years as well as a teacher of German for about two (2) years. My occupation as a translator is now my main employment activity and is in the fifth consecutive year. Qualifications 1. GROSSES DEUTSCHES SPRACHDIPLOM in GERMAN (officially set examination by the University of Munich passed).
4. Cource of Methodology and Teaching for Teachers of German of 80 (eighty) hours regularly attended and successfully completed at the Goethe Institut in Thessaloniki.
Education 1. FILTON TECHNICAL COLLEGE (BRISTOL - ENGLAND):
Advanced levels: PURE MATHEMATICS, APPLIED MATHEMATICS.
Ordinary levels: PHYSICS, ENGLISH.

Higher National Diploma course: COMPUTING AND ENGINEERING.
(Regular attendance of lectures and successful participation in laboratory exercise with partial success in some of the written exams - Cource NOT completed).

PHYSIK- DIPLOM (Ing.) course: Regular attendance of the four (4) Semesters of the VOR-DIPLOM (out of the total 12 semesters of the DIPLOM course).
4. Private Institute NORTH COLLEGE (THESSALONIKI):
Three-year (3) B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) cource in the Department of Communication and
Journalism: regularly attended with success in all written examinations. Experience 1. Teacher of English in the private sector of education in Greece
for ten (10) years at all levels of classes up to Advanced English.
2. Teacher of German in the private sector of education in Greece for two (2) years at Beginners and Intermediate levels.
3.-- Translator in cooperation with officially recognised Translation-Company in Thessaloniki for one and a lalf (1.5) years, having dealt with Translation from German to Greek and vice-versa in the fields of Technology (translation of manuals for engineering companies), Medicine (translation of reports of Medical Institutes), and Texts on Business and Legal Affairs on commercial and jurisdiction matters as well as Official Certificates.
--Also, cooperation as a Freelance Translator with European, U.S.A. and Canadian Translation companies for four (4) years having undertaken translation tasks in the fields of Science, Medicine, Technology, Law and Business between the languages ENGLISH-GERMAN, ENGLISH-GREEK, and GERMAN-GREEK.
